Anastasia Woods
MPH, MSN, CNM, Ruth Brexendorf Stifel Fellow
Anastasia is a New Orleans native. In 2018, she earned her B.A. in Public Health and Sociology from Franklin and Marshall College. She then earned her Master of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health with a focus on Maternal and Child Health from Tulane University in 2021. Anastasia’s experiences as a passionate community doula, birth justice advocate, and researcher brought her to midwifery. She earned her MSN from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing and graduated in May 2024 as a Certified Nurse Midwife and Family Nurse Practitioner.
In the fall of 2024, Anastasia joined The Midwife Center as the 19th Ruth Brexendorf Stifel Fellow. She is excited to support families in Pittsburgh and is committed to providing holistic client-centered care.
