Client Service Associate

The Midwife Center for Birth & Women's Health promotes wellness by providing exceptional, client-centered primary gynecological, pregnancy and birthing care in southwestern Pennsylvania’s only independent birth center. 


The Client Service Associate is a full-time, Monday-Friday, daylight position. This client-facing role is designed to support our provider staff with delivering exceptional service. The right person can anticipate client needs, is detailed and thorough, positive, and warm.


$17/hour, health and dental benefits, holidays & paid time off.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated dedication to reproductive health
  • Medical Assistant certification and/or Associates degree preferred
  • 2+ years professional experience in a healthcare office or medical setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comptuer proficiency and the ability to use electronic health record systems

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a healthcare office or medical setting
  • Spanish speaking

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create a welcoming environment for our clients
  • Client registration and processing
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments through an electronic system
  • Provide information about birth center services
  • Update client charts and electronic health record databases
  • Input clinical orders and labs
  • Process payments
  • Prepare and stock exam rooms
  • May perform other duties as needed

All employees are required by the Department of Health to be able to obtain the following clearances once they start work: PA Criminal Background; FBI Clearance; and PA Child Abuse Clearance. The Midwife Center also requires all employees to have the Covid-19 vaccine.
