Dana Bloomburg
MSN, CRNP, Lead Nurse Practitioner
Dana received her nursing degree (BSN) at the University of Pittsburgh and her Nurse Practitioner degree (MSN) at Carlow University. Dana joined The Midwife Center in 2009. In 2012, she obtained a Professional Development Certificate in Family Planning Services from Arcadia University. In 2019, Dana completed ASCCP's Colposcopy Mentorship Program.
Dana’s women’s health experience prior to The Midwife Center includes being a Labor and Delivery nurse at a Level III hospital, instructing BSN students’ obstetrical clinical rotations, and working in an OB/GYN private practice as a Nurse Practitioner.
Dana feels passionate about giving women good health care and still feels honored to be able to provide women with the personalized care that TMC provides. She enjoys seeing both the gynecological and pregnant clients, as well as helping women with preconception planning and contraceptive choices.
Dana is a Pittsburgh native who spends her time outside of The Midwife Center with her husband, children and dog. She loves to walk, cook and read in her spare time.
