DeJané Dozier

DeJané is a Virginia Beach native who grew up aspiring to be a labor and delivery nurse. In 2012 after her graduating from the University of Virginia with her BSN she realized she wanted to learn more about Midwifery. She then enrolled in and graduated from Frontier University School of Nursing with her MSN. While in the pursuit of becoming a Certified Midwife she was mentored in the District of Columbia at Family Health and Birth Center. While there, she learned the necessary skills to complete and become a Certified Nurse Midwife.

DeJané joined The Midwife Center as the 15th Ruth Brexendorf Stifel Fellow in 2019. After completing the Fellowship, she became a staff Midwife. Her commitment to quality care and service is a joy to see and we are thrilled that her passion has led her here.
