Donate now to ensure that individuals and families in the Pittsburgh area have access to safe, personalized prenatal, childbirth and primary gynecological care at The Midwife Center. Our programs and services to reduce barriers to care would not be possible without the support of people like you.
We are a 501(c)3 charitable nonprofit and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.

Buy a brick
Become a part of Midwife Center history by purchasing an engraved brick. Your long-lasting contribution will pave the walkway of our center and help transform the lives of individuals and families in the Pittsburgh area. Purchasing an engraved brick is a wonderful way to honor the birth of your baby, memorialize a loved one, or honor yourself, your family, or your business.
Workplace giving programs
It’s easy to double your donation to The Midwife Center through your employer’s matching gift program. To find out if your workplace has a matching gift program, please contact your HR or community relations department and they will help you sign up. If your workplace asks that The Midwife Center fill out a matching gift form, let us know.
Here are some Pittsburgh-area employers which have matching gift programs: American Eagle Outfitters, Ameriprise, Chevron, Google, IBM, PNC, PPG Industries.
We can help you get started with your workplace’s matching gift program. Please contact Rachel Dingfelder, Development Coordinator at email@example.com or 412.321.6880 x208
You can make automated donations through your workplace and United Way. Please ask your employer about the program. The Midwife Center’s United Way number is #999078.
Donate to The Bubbe Hannah Fund
The Bubbe Hannah Fund of The Midwife Center supports programs and services for individuals who are vulnerable to poor health outcomes or who experience barriers to quality health care. The fund is named in honor of Hannah Sandusky (aka Bubbe Hannah), an ancestor of the Raphael Family and a midwife in the Hill District of Pittsburgh in the late 1800s.
