Prenatal & Postpartum Yoga at The Midwife Center - Free and Open to the Community!
Instructed by Jackie Lamars, this gentle, all-levels class is designed to support both expectant and new parents through mindful movement, breathwork, and connection. Whether you're preparing for birth or navigating the postpartum journey, you'll build strength, ease tension, and nurture your body and heart in a supportive, inclusive space.
Bring a yoga mat and bottle of water (some mats available on a first come, first serve basis).
Jackie Lamars (she/her) is a birth and postpartum doula, as well as a certified yoga instructor trained through Yoga Love PGH. Jackie’s classes blend mindfulness, movement, and heart-centered practices, which are further informed by her Quaker background and commitment to spreading peacefulness. Her approach to teaching supports the whole self—body, mind, and spirit—as well as beyond, with the hope that our relationships and communities benefit from these nurturing practices. Jackie’s classes offer gentle, empowering movement for every stage of the perinatal journey.
