Wellness Walk-In Fridays

 

Due for your annual exam? Need STI testing, birth control, or care for a gynecological problem? We can help!

You can stop in for primary gynecological care at The Midwife Center every Friday from 1:00-6:00 pm. You can sign in starting at 12:30 pm. We will not take any walk-ins after 5:00 pm. Appointments will be first come, first served.

At the beginning of 2023, The Midwife Center renamed With Woman Fridays to become Wellness Walk-In Fridays in order to be more welcoming and inclusive of people of different genders who are seeking quality primary gynecological care. Originally named after the meaning of the word “midwife” (with woman), With Woman Fridays and previously Con Mujeres have served thousands of individuals since 2003.

We offer this time period for anyone who has barriers to making a regular appointment due to childcare, work schedules, or everyday life stressors. We continue to ask clients to wear a mask and follow other posted guidelines to reduce Covid-19 transmission.

During Wellness Walk-In Fridays, our goal is to provide clients of all ages who are insured or uninsured with the best possible care.

Services include:

  • Complete history and physical exams, including annual exams
  • Pelvic exams and Pap tests
  • STI/vaginal infection screening and treatment
  • Contraceptives, including emergency contraceptives
  • Fertility awareness
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Wellness promotion
  • Referrals for mammography
  • Menopausal care

If you don’t have insurance we can talk to you about your options, including medical assistance. For people who do not qualify for medical assistance, as a member of Adagio Health we are able to provide care for free or on a sliding fee scale. The sliding-scale fee will be based on your income and family size.

The Midwife Center offers a variety of interpretation services for people who speak different languages. Our building is designed to be accessible to people of all physical abilities.
