The Queer Family Community Group (QFCG) is a new program from The Midwife Center. It will be facilitated by Ru Emmons, TMC's Behavioral Health student, and will take place on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month from February 4-April 15 from 6-8 PM.
Ru Emmons is a clinical mental health counseling student at IUP, a somatic experiencing practitioner, and a bodyworker. They are queer and trans, and have been working with that population for 8 years. They are excited to hold space with you.
This is a free, supportive, community space for LGBTQIA+ families and people who are building their family.
