There is a 10-mile race on Sunday, November 6th that will close several streets around TMC between 6AM-11AM. TMC has been in communication with P3R to develop a travel plan for clients who go into labor:
Coming from the West:
- Folks should make their way to Smallman Street near Downtown
- Turn right onto 28th Street
- Turn left onto Mulberry Way to access TMC's parking lot
Coming from the East
- Folks should make their way to 32nd Street via Penn or Liberty Avenue
- From 32nd Street, turn left onto Smallman St.
- Turn right on 31st street
- Turn left onto Railroad Street
- Turn left onto 28th Street
- Turn left onto Mulberry Way to access TMC's parking lot
Families traveling to The Midwife Center should plan for heavy traffic. If barricades are in the way, we have been told to instruct clients to drive around them. Police in the area who are helping with the event have been notified that clients of The Midwife Center may drive around the barricades.
