Over the course of the retreat, participants will experience storytelling, art, ritual, dialogue, and embodied processes to:
- -Explore their foundational beliefs about birth and the connections they have to their present work.
- -Consider what parents really need to know in order to give birth.
- -Consider what birth workers really need to know to be of service.
- -Expand possibilities of how to work with parents in ways that value coping, resilience, and inner knowing while helping parents detach their sense of self-worth from their birth outcomes.
- -Explore ways to cultivate inspiring, nourishing practices that reduce and heal birth burnout.
