The Midwife Center is now offering a pilot program for affinity support groups. Based on The Midwife Center's popular Postpartum Support Group, community members with shared experiences and identities will connect, give and receive support, and build community in a safe, affirming environment.
TMC's Queer Parent Support Group will provide a monthly supportive space, professionally facilitated, where queer and trans parents can share their experience, exchange resources, lean on and learn from one another, and improve the health and well-being of not only themselves, but their children, partners and community. This group is facilitated by Aya Elize-Christie, MSN, CNM and Carmen Alexander.
