The Midwife Center invites professional and amateur bakers and decorators to enter a cake for our 13th annual cake decorating & tasting contest and fundraiser party on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Hotel Monaco in Downtown Pittsburgh. This year's theme: Make Waves
From the refreshment of a cool drink to the pleasure of listening to a summer’s rainstorm, from the smallest of streams to the world’s great oceans, this year’s theme highlights the beauty and power of water in all of its forms. Bakers and decorators are asked to create cakes that are inspired by this theme. Learn more about the theme on the Rules & Guidelines page.

Application fees & important dates
- Apply before 7/31 - early application fee is $25
- Apply between 8/1 and 8/15 - application fee is $35

Cake Reception (main event) tickets will go on sale later this summer.
